Hard Earned Top 10 at West Siloam Speedway Jon Tesch Racing made the best of a bad night Friday night at West Siloam Speedway (West Siloam, OK). After struggling through his heat race and B-Main, Tesch was forced to take a provisional to make the 30-lap A-Main. Tesch made the most of it. He worked through the traffic to score a 10th place finish by race end.

The United States Modified Touring Series will once again be pitside at the West Siloam Speedway tonight (Saturday) - featuring a $3,000 to win A-Main for the USMTS Modifieds.

Sixth on Night 1 at McCool Jon Tesch Racing grabbed another Top 10 finish Friday, March 21st at Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, NE). Tesch started 12th for the 30-lap USMTS A-Main and finished 6th.

On Saturday, March 22nd, JTR will again race at the Junction Motor Speedway.

Second Straight Second For Tesch After finishing second the night before, Jon Tesch Racing was shotting to grab the win Sunday night (March 16, 2008) at Thunderhill Speedway (Mayette, KS). Tesch put him in the position to take the USMTS win, but again Tesch finished second.

2008 Starts off With a Near Miss Jon Tesch Racing started the 2008 racing season with a trip to Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, KS. It was the United States Modified Touring Series.

Tesch took the win in Heat Race #2, and started the 40-lapper on the front outside spot. Tesch would take the lead right at the drop of the green flag. Lapped traffic was a factor all night, but Tesch held the lead.

Jason Hughes made a move on the final lap when Tesch was caught dealing with lapped traffic, and Hughes would nip Tesch at the line by a car length for the win. Tesch finished second after leading 39 of 40 laps.

10th at Cresco Jon Tesch had to run a B-Main to make the show at Cresco Speedway (Cresco, IA) on Friday. He started 16th and moved up 6 spots to finish 10th.

Second at Owatonna Jon Tesch Racing continued their strong run during the 'Hunt of the USMTS Championship.' Thursday night the number "14" hit the Steele County Fairgrounds (Owatonna, MN). Tesch took second in his heat race and redrew 2nd for the start of the A-Main. Tesch led from the drop of the green flag until he was passed by eventual race winner Jason Hughes working lap 24. Tesch would finish 2nd.

The Hunt for the USMTS Championship Top 5 in Points: 1. Jason Hughes, 2. Jason Krohn, 3. Jon Tesch, 4. Kelly Shryock, 5. Greg Skaggs.
